«They just physically wore us down. We had some lack of communication on defense in the fourth quarter. We tried to go man to pick up some steal and cut the lead a little bit closer because we didn't feel like we could play zone the entire time and be satisfied with what we had. We just couldn't hang with them.»

«Anytime we are down I know these girls are capable of fighting back. We just didn't want them to get too far out of reach. Seven points isn't too far out of reach for this team. You never want to be down, you always want to keep the other team down. I wasn't worried or fretting, though. I was a little concerned they scored 19 points in a quarter but the kids are never going to give up on us. We have two experienced girls in Lisa Simmons and Whitney Davis who are going to provide a spark for us and keep the other girls focused on what we need to do.»

«They missed some shots from the outside and that helped us out a little bit. Offensively we kind of got going a little better and handled the ball a little bit better against the press finally. I am still not happy with the way we are handling the press break. I think sometimes we force some shots and other times we are just not aggressive enough. Not very many teams have pressed us this year. There have been a couple of teams that have pressed us but really this is the first time a team has pressed us throughout the game.»
