has to try and see a situation from the other person's point of view, to avoid making many unfair judgments. One should always hear both sides of a situation, in order to figure out a fair solution. A lot of the time, people don't stop to understand a person, but are quick to make stereotypical judgments about them. To really understand a person, "stand in his shoes and walk around in them."
