Theodore Roosevelt, feared by many political figures, but accepted
amongst the people. He loved the feeling of power. A common quote by
President Roosevelt was "Speak softly and carry a big stick...", he was a
reserved man, but yet not afraid to voice his opinon. Up until his death
Roosevelt always had a voice in the public and is still recognized and one of
our greatest presidents.

was determined to live his life to the fullest, after his presidency he took
an African Safari. While campaigning in Milwaukee, he was shot in the chest
by a fanatic. Roosevelt soon recovered, but his words at that time would have
been applicable at the time of his death in 1919: "No man has had a happier
life than I have led; a happier life in every way."
