Plagiarism is the act of using or passing off the ideas or writings of another as one's own. There are many different types of plagiarism, not just one. To plagiarize one's own ideas is dishonest and has many consequences that come with it. Although many people say they did not plagiarize, it's not hard to realize when someone has. a professor with someone else's work, impress them with your own. It's an unacceptable way of writing and has become more common throughout the years, especially with the invention of the internet. It wouldn't be hard for plagiarism to cease if people actually took the time to source their information. Give credit where credit is due.
