The Pentecost was 50 days after the Passover Sabbath and Pentecost celebrated the beginning of the grain harvest in which people brought bread made from grain. As the Jews were thanking and praising God at the beginning of their harvest, Jesus poured out his spirit on the people and enabled them to speak in different tongues, empowering them to begin the harvest of souls.

with others, we may be able to see god's answer in the most astounding ways, even in the most difficult circumstances. An example of an opportunity to spread the gospel may be speaking in tongues; this happened in the Day of the Pentecost- people spoke in various tongues which they did not know of and this was a symbol of Jesus' presence and Jesus working through the people even though he was not present physically.
