Lets be careful on how we Jews have always defined that term, Messiah, and how the others, i.e. Christians continue to define it.
With equal importance, we must understand that there is a whole theology that goes along with the theology of messiahship, both for the Jews and for the Christians, and that the two theologies contradict each other, and are incompatable with each other.
