The use of witty puns, the excellent, sophisticated vocabulary, and the fact that it was written so long ago makes Romeo and Juliet a somewhat difficult story to get at first. It takes close reading and rereading and good analyzing to understand the quality of this story. If a reader does that, they will find Romeo and Juliet quite entertaining.
