A Comparison as Described in Leviticus 23 and Deuteronomy 16
Being that this class is my first exposure to the Biblical Text, I consider myself a novice on the subject. Therefore, almost everything that I have read so far has raised questions and reactions with me. I have chosen to write about the Festal Calendar as it is detailed in Leviticus, chapter 23 and Deuteronomy, chapter 16.

specific time to hold the festival of booths. It states to celebrate the festival on the 15th day of the seventh month. Deuteronomy 16 says to celebrate it when you have gathered in the produce from your threshing floors and winepresses. Also in Deuteronomy 16 it says to allow all, including strangers, to take part in the festival; just as in the festival of weeks. And again, this seems to be a rather vague definition of strangers.
