The state of Vermont has recently initiated a hunting season on moose. Any licensed moose hunter can now shoot a moose legally and eat or sell the meat for a high profit. The season runs from October 17 through October 21. One of the objectives of the hunt is wildlife management, which is basically killing off a certain number of animals to control the population. It is a treat to see one in the wild and realize how big and beautiful of a creature it is.
