come to realize that fighting and killing solely for entertainment is not what is to be considered religious sacrifices or sufficient entertainment. While some third-world countries still persecute its citizens for following other beliefs than their own, we live in a society that has come to accept most every belief. So If Christianity had not prevailed over Paganism, I think that we would have just come to accept it for what it would be today.
