the guidelines seem enormous, this has only scratched the surface of the stoicism philosophy. In the stoicism philosophy there is also its own logic, physical theory and many other aspects as well. Therefore if one might want to study stoicism, it could take months or even years to get the hang of it, but in the end, he/she will be amazed at how these people behaved, and could be influenced to become a stoic.
