In the story of Sophocles there are few things that I liked and didn't. First, the image of Oedipus is admireable. Secondly the way he talks about his hunger to avenge his father's death. On the other hand, I didn't like how he was destined to sleep with his mother and how he blamed Kreon.

was well written, however it had some awful sexual ideas and themes. Some of which I wouldn't personally enjoyed reading or telling my children. The way people lived life back then show us that they were comfortable with there sexuality and whom ever they slept with. Surely this is true because it is a story told for generations and generations, but will not be told to my children until they are at least of age.
