The ancient Greeks were a deeply religious people. For them, religion was important because they believed that it would make their lives better while they were living. These holy places were known as oracles. Greeks and priest use to go in this oracles and pray to the gods and ask a question about their future. They believed the gods answered their questions using signs in nature.
Consequently, we can see how gods and goddesses played an important role in Greek religion. It is amazing how this ancient civilization strikes us with its mysteries, as we go in search of history.
