While it is well known that Taoism and Buddhism have an idea of reincarnation, in general nobody knows whether there is reincarnation or not, or if it exists, how we reborn. However if it exists, the aim of reincarnation must be reaching pure good. Whether the target is called Nirvana or Tao, human beings have to control their desires.
