Whether the Puritans were really "pure" or not is a very controversial subject. I believe that the Puritans were as pure as history portrayed them to be. The reasons I will give to support my believe are as follows: 1) strong communities were built from religion, 2) predestination and wasting time, 3) they knew how to enjoy life, 4) devotion and education of their children.

as close as one could though. They kept themselves away from time wasting things which developed a great way to save money and many other things. They cared about one another and had a very strong bond which helped create a very unique strong society. Their children were very well educated and grew up with good work morals. All in all I believe the Puritans really were as pure as history portrayed them to be.
