Bible is not only the book that teaches us to live the way Christians do and tries to analyze the purpose of Christian life, but also makes an attempt to help us understand who God is, and makes some suggestions concerning the way we should view the world. I will analyze the two books of Bible - 1 Peter and 1 John. I think that these two books are quite different, as they present two contrasting views

reality exists somewhere else, and his death on the cross proved that.
In conclusion I would like to tell that, in my opinion, John's model of viewing the wold is more successful that Peter's - God is the source of love and the source of our being - through God we are all connected and love makes our joy complete. So, our purpose is to love God and all his children and fulfill God's commandments.
