This presentation of the play is only for the true lover of drama. Medea cried and moaned with female angst for 90% of the play. The rest of the actors were the only thing that saved the play. The single stage leaves much to be desired and is not very entertaining. The language had a heavy accent that caused me to miss about every third word. …showed last 75 words of 604 total…is really only useful to learn about the history of drama. I don't believe it has any cultural context that would spark powerful debate or incite someone to think. It was hard to understand Medea and I may have lost something in translation. I try to keep an open mind and accept different forms of art but I couldn't handle this. It was plain, boring, and the plot has been used repeatedly since its inception.
