the Civil Rights Movement and the Women's Movement in the 1960's and 70's. In order for society to grow and accept homosexuals, it is necessary for gays and lesbians to have a unified gay rights movement. We are living in a time where everyone and everything is getting more evolved. The church must do the same. It is time for this institution as well as oneself to be open minded of new things and ideas.
