Fate vs. Free Will
In the play of "Hamlet", by William Shakespeare the main character Hamlet draws a great fascination and mystery. Is he a victim of fate or the master of his own destiny? Hamlet is a tragic hero who meets his tragic end. If he had not procrastinated so much, if he had not putted on an "antic disposition", if he had not believed in fate or if he had not chosen the path that he did, he would have been considered as a master of his own destiny.
