Civil Union is not enough. Civil Unions support the separate-but-equal system saying that they are not good enough to get married. Currently, only Vermont supports Civil Unions. If the couple were to move to another state, they would lose the union immediately. Marriage cannot be removed. Conclusion... I'm too lazy...
