Introduction
Disfellowshipping is the act of removing an individual from the church rolls and barring the same from activities of the church. This rare occurrence is often an obscure paragraph or two in a church's by-laws, constitution, or other document containing guidelines for discipline. Personally, I have never been involved in a disfellowshipping. I have discussed the procedure and the possibility of it but only in a theoretical sense. It has never been an issue

will seek to implement a program to indoctrinate new believers. Among the topics will be expectations for holy living, being active in the community, and church discipline procedures. A thorough understanding of churchmanship is essential to avoiding misunderstanding God's expectations of the individual and the church's as well.
The most important thing I will do in light of this research is to continue my research, pray, and work out my response in the years ahead.
