…showed last 75 words of 637 total…be violent. This is distinguishable by "Don't you dare give me that stare, young man! She slaps his face." This can be seen in two ways. One being a mother disciplining her child, the second being seen as a violent burst that resulted from her introverted behaviour earlier in the play. Both ways however do reflect violence on this character. The question to ask therefore would be was this violent behaviour acceptable given the circumstances?
