Founder of Confucianism
In Confucianism, there is thought to be one central founder but due to it's complicated past there can be an argument made that there is more than one foundered, depending how it is looked upon. One scholar in particular, Mencius, created many teachings and ideas (which are very close to those of Confucius) and wrote his own books. The book of Mencius has become one of the central texts in Confucianism. Mencius is sometimes referred to as the "second founder" but yet there is no possible way to deny the original founder of Confucianism, which is K'ung Fu-Tuz.
