Christians can only gain money in lawful and moral ways and when they have wealth, it is a gift from God not theirs alone. needy nowadays, Jews are meant to give one tenth of their income to the poor (tzedakah). They believe that the best form of charity is that, that means the needy never need a charity again, and so work towards it.
I also believe that upon helping these charities and giving to the poor, Jews believe that they are performing a righteous act that God will acknowledge.
