in all, the most important ceremonies in Buddhism seem to be universal throughout Buddhist countries and no matter where, every Buddhist country seems to have the same goal. This goal is to attain enlightenment. The wonderful thing about Buddhism is no matter how it is practiced; no matter what ceremonies you participate in, as long as you remain true to the basic values, you will continue on your journey to attain that which you seek.
