Throughout the 20th century, the Catholic Church has been looked down upon. There are many reasons for it, but as far as Catholics are concerned they are not very logical reasons. Most of this predisposed hatred, to something that is as pure as a religion, is because the Catholic Church is based around very strict guidelines. This shows that in conclusion the Catholic Church is an institution of character with great respect for traditional values; with a strong religious structure, it overcame the troubles of the 20th century.
