The International Young People's Festival explores the passion and emotions youths experience in today's culture, whether it's the surfing community of Australia, the "schoolies" week they plan at the end of high school or even experiencing tragedies, the youth culture is an important part of our society. Often teenagers feel powerless to influence things, but this play "will allow them to expand their horizons and learn about different societies" by presenting multiple examples of immaturity and dire consequences. "Blurred" will be more effective then "Blackrock" is because it presents multiple groups/stereotypes which will have a more effective message to the viewer's mind.
