BEACH BURIAL
The picture, that I have drawn, is representing the poem “Beach Burial” by Kenneth Slessor. In this picture I have concentrated on the lines “ the convoys of dead sailors come” and “Unknown seaman - the ghostly pencil waver and fades, the purple drips” which is in the first and the fourth verse of this five verse poem.

“the convoy of dead sailors come” as well as “unknown seaman”. Finally these two lines were a big part in the poem because they represented the amount of people who wasted their lives in war. Slessor in the end points out that now they are dead they are equal and are “ enlisted on the other front” which means they are in heaven together.
