The story of "The Veldt", is an interesting story which concerns the issue of how modern technology can destroy the typical united family. In my personal opinion, this story has the most absolute lack of any characterization, and is all about how regular children can destroy, or even kill their whole family without any hesitation or misery.

in many homes. Busy parents were replacing their own affection and time for their children, with the cubed boxes. The story concentrates on how this relationship can eventually destroy the family, even in a future society. In order to do this, Mr. Bradbury concentrates on his point and reduces the characters into universal "generic people", which can give us a sense that this can happen in every family, whether in the future, or the present.
