Adolf Hitler was born on April 20th, 1889 in the town of Braunau Austria. He was the fourth child of Alois Schickelgruber and Klara Hitler. Two of his siblings died from diphtheria when they were children, and one died shortly after birth. Hitler was very close to his mother, but not as much to his father who was known to be a very strict, and violent man.
