amp;lt;Tab/>Now that I have stated my points and given proofs, I'd like to state my feelings about A Separate Peace by John Knowles. Gene is the most complex character I have ever read about. He acts in many different ways and is always changing his mind. While I didn't particularly like the book, it is worth reading for the sole reason of trying to figure out how Gene's mind works.
